OUR TEAM

The Aurora Rose team collectively has specialized training in and holds certifications in areas of study that support the community we serve. Some of our staff hold certifications through William and Mary’s Law School in Special Education Law, International Certifications in Mediation and Conflict Resolution through Youth Intervention Network (YIN) and Dialogue for Peaceful Change (DPC), as well as communication certifications from Healthy Families CA, Parent Liaison Certifications from San Diego State University and Special Education Advocate Certifications from the Coalition of Parents, Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA). Additionally, some of our staff are also internationally certified in “Train the Trainer” Mediation and Conflict Resolution. 


Some of our staff at Aurora Rose Consulting and Support, LLC have held numerous positions throughout Contra Costa County. They are as follows:

Co-Chair of the Contra Costa County SELPA (Special Education Local Planning Area) Community Advisory Committee

Chair of the Antioch Unified School District CAC (Community Advisory Committee). 

District 5 Representative for the Contra Costa County FACT (Family and Children’s Trust) Committee.

We are committed to our community and strive to work with school districts, as a way to stay in communication and informed of new changes and improvements in the special education departments. I am a single mother with a 5 year old on the spectrum.
