About Us

We know what it’s like to sit in another IEP meeting, feeling unheard or outnumbered. That’s why Aurora Rose Consulting and Support was founded: to give families like yours a stronger voice and a real partner in the journey. Our team brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in special education and general education advocacy. We’ve earned certifications from places like William & Mary Law School (Special Education Law), Youth Intervention Network and Dialogue for Peaceful Change (international mediation), Healthy Families CA, San Diego State University, and COPAA. Some of us are even trained to teach others how to mediate and resolve conflict—because we know how important it is to keep the peace while getting results.

We’re not just experts on paper. We’ve served as chairs and co-chairs on advisory committees, mentored other parents, and spoken at workshops and symposiums throughout Contra Costa County. Our philosophy is simple: relationships, compassion, and humility come first. We stay in touch with local schools and families so we’re always up to date—and always on your side.
