1) Who we are
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of aurorarosellc.com (the “Site”), operated by Aurora Rose LLC, a California limited liability company (“Aurora Rose,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our services include special education advocacy (including IEP/504 support and mediation) and mobile notary services (the “Services”). We serve clients in California, Washington, and beyond.
2) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
3) Not legal advice; no attorney‑client relationship
- Aurora Rose LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
- Communications with us (email, phone, SMS, forms, or mediation sessions) do not create an attorney‑client relationship.
- Mediators are neutral and do not advocate for any party.
- Notaries do not provide legal advice or select forms for you. Seek independent legal counsel as needed.
4) Eligibility; appropriate use
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. Do not use the Site for unlawful purposes or to interfere with Site operation.
5) Scheduling, payments, and cancellations
- Payment in full is required at the time of booking or before Services are performed, as specified by us.
- All payments are non‑refundable. We do not offer cancellations. If we need to reschedule due to availability or unforeseen circumstances, we’ll work with you in good faith to find a new time.
- You are responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring you, your documents, and (for notary services) acceptable identification are available at the scheduled time.
6) Notary services; limitations
- We do not offer remote online notarization (RON).
- You are responsible for ensuring your documents are complete (except for signatures and notarization fields that must be executed in our presence).
- We may decline or discontinue a notarization if legal requirements are not met (e.g., lack of proper ID, apparent coercion, or incomplete documents).
7) Intellectual property
All Site content, trademarks, logos, and materials are owned by or licensed to Aurora Rose and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
8) No warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
9) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurora Rose and its owners, members, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service most closely related to the claim.
10) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aurora Rose from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11) Third‑party links
The Site may link to third‑party websites or resources. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
12) Communications; SMS & email
By providing your email and/or mobile number, you consent to receive transactional communications related to your inquiries or bookings, and optional promotional messages if you opt in. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time using the instructions in the message, and opt out of SMS by replying STOP (reply HELP for help). Opting out may affect our ability to communicate regarding Services.
13) Governing law; venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. (Either party may seek equitable relief.)
14) Changes to the Site or Terms
We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
